Twin Mountain, NH
Surrounded by New Hampshire's White Mountain National Forest, Twin Mountain is a Four Season area with Skiing, Snowmobiling, Hiking, Biking, Bird and Moose viewing.

Twin Mountain is located between Franconia Notch and Crawford Notch with its majestic waterfalls & scenic crags. For year-round vacationers we offer motels, campgrounds, cottages and restaurants -- all with North Country hospitality.

Summer Music Series

The Twin Mountain Chamber of Commerce Music Series begins Friday, July 9. Concerts are held from 7:00-8:30 pm, near the Town information booth and bandstand overlooking the intersection of Routes 3 and 302. The remaining concerts are on Saturdays. Concerts are offered as free family entertainment. Refreshments will be available at the site. In case of inclement weather the concerts will still be held at the Town Hall nearby on School Street. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets and there is plenty of parking nearby. For more information please call Jim at 1-800-682-7222.

Movie Night

The Twin Mountain Recreation Committee presents "Movie night under the Stars". Saturday, July 17 at the Carroll Recreation Area at 8 pm. Bring a lounge chair, blanket and snacks and enjoy a movie outside! Admission: a non-perishable food item to donate to the town's food pantry. (if it rains, the movie will be shown at the town hall)

Pancake Breakfasts

The 2010 Twin Mountain Fire Department Auxiliary Pancake Breakfasts are scheduled for Saturday, August 7, Sept. 3 and Oct. 9 at the Fire Station. The time is 7:00 am - 10:30 am and the cost is just $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12.

Ammonoosuc River Summer Series

Three evening programs will be hosted by the Ammonoosuc River Local Advisory Committee and will take place at The Rocks Estate in Bethlehem, NH at 7 pm.
Wed. July 17: Rare, Endangered and Threatened Species and Important Natural Communities
Wed. August 4: Invasive Aquatic Plants
Wed. Sept 1: Ice Jams

Summer Reading Program

All children from Twin Mountain are invited to all activities at the Twin Mt. Public Library. For more info, call the library at 846-5818.

Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day

Saturday, August 14th at the Carroll Transfer Sation, 8 am - 12 noon - open to residents of the town of Carroll - Examples of what to bring: Oven cleaners, drain cleaners, all pesticides, insect sprays, pool cleaners, used oil, gasoline, kerosene, antifreeze, oil based paints and stains, etc. For more info, contact Bill Dowling at 846-2204
