In the spring and summer, you can explore miles of hiking trails, go fishing in the Lower Falls of the Ammonoosuc River. Lower Falls is a large pool of water situated below a small waterfall. The pool is shallow enough for young children to play safely, and the surrounding rocks provide seating (popular with families and couples).
